Zukhanye Tida - "Low/cold temperatures vs. learner performance"

Pictured: Zukanye Tida, a grade 10 learner on the SAEON education programme with the Egagasini Node in Cape Town, presenting her research project to the audience during the education symposium held in Kimberley (Northern Cape).

Her research project presentation was entitled: "Low/Cold temperatures vs. Learner Performance". The aim of her project was: "To determine the negative effects of low/cold temperatures towards learner performance and to establish the relationship between low temperatures, attendance and performance of learners".

The hypothesis tested is: "Most learners do not attend school when it is cold and rainy, therefore that affect their performance."
