Aobakwe Lenkwe

I'm a 2nd year MSc student at the University of the Witwatersrand. The research I do involves investigating what the impact of rainfall is on stream water chemistry, across catchments with different land use at Cathedral Peak. I've been doing research at Cathedral Peak since my honours year in 2014. One of my favourite objectives in my research involves dissolved organic carbon and a spectrophotometer.....fun!!! My supervisors are Christopher Curtis (Wits School of GAES) and Sue van Rensburg (SAEON).

If I'm not reading or writing any thesis related materials, you will find me: running, painting, learning how to use my "fancy" camera, learning how to play Shubbie-my guitar, drinking green tea sitting under a tree somewhere or just reading a bunch of books that make me happy.
